bah, best thing to do is to "reinforce" coolers u buy. Them itself or like i did, i drilled two big holes on the side of my tower and put two gigantic fans i assembled myself(one 220v other is with adaptor, posibility to change fans speed) and let me tell u that from then i call my rig "IGLOO" in true sense of the word !!! Temps like 23c/24c full load around 30 are no longer a wish(hehehe overclockers would apreciate this).

Now that is exactly the info i've been looking for, hehehe indepth capabilities and flaws of progies !!!

Downloading PowerDesk4free now. Umh someone mentioned corupted files with ace, that is not an option for me(any loss of backup data would result in disaster folowed by me going primal on the keyboard). What about safety(data coruption, errors) of the progies you guys were mentioning. Once i got bigtime broken zip files(can't remember the version) you can't posibly imagine expression on my face when zip files refused to extract !!!

dude where are the 22.xx series???(from the displayed, i'd have to pick 12.xx & 23.xx)

The best performing dets are still 12.90(dx) but in opengl 1080 kill every other driver, can you or can you not mix these two.

Ok runned some test with new 23.11 and they apear little slower than 22.40 in 3dmark2001 but faster in real world, and as for ogl they are also slower than 22.40 and 12.90 !!! Check again for i test every single dets that are out there(hehehe, professional deformation, just have to know which are the best, also have tons of dets burned on my cd's) will try to provide links for newest dets also(as some people dont have a clue where to find them, but u can usualy find them on www.m3dzone.com , www.warp2search.com , www.guru3d.com ....) . Enjoy the free speed upgrades that nvidia provide for us(that's what we're paying for, right!!!)

Yes it is !! Dunno how much the demo could show you but the game keeps you on the edge of screaming !!!(psycho, hehehe that scene in the shower) . or even better poltergeist(never know what will happen to you when u enter the room). 8)

What about AvP 2 guys, yeah rtcw kicks *** but i think that AvP 2 is better !!!

To me it was back way around lost points in ogl and smaller drop in d3d so as far as bencmarking goes 22.40 rulez for me. Just saw that ABIT KR7A got into stores(im ordering one on monday, pronto:D ).

23.10 didn't do good for me(little slower than 22.40) and as for anisotropic i don't use it anyways.

I will install them now. Post your thoughts on 23.10(did you try 22.40)?

Try 22.40, they are faster in 3dmark and games than 22.50(especialy in opengl) opengl sucks in 22.50(for profesionals the best drivers are 10.80 their open gl kicks a**), but somehow i get better fps in UT using 12.90. Anybody tried 15.70? They seem to perform little less than 12.90.

Can anywhone tell me why in d3d games i have slower fps with 22.40(best dets4 for me) than 12.90 when with 22.40 my 3dmark2001 score is 3029 and 12.90 is 2730. Has anybody noticed that dets4 haven't got d3d texture compresion in registry ?????

I think now i know why 22.xx are slower in games for some, read it someware- aparently 22.xx disable enchanched cpu instructions it says that it is reverse if u disable you actualy enable so i benched but results are the same ??? As for nforce, it doesnt have probs with AthlonXP procesors like kt266(think that via will fix this promptly) so for now nforce is a go IF the price is right !!! Anywhone tried enchanced 22.50(better openGL or something) you can find them on http://www.warp2search.net

Well yes im keeping my eye on nforce too but with all those gimmicks onboard i think it will be too expensive !!!

Wow thats some rigg tweaked, im building new machine based on kt266a + athlon XP just waiting to see which board is the best(think abit will be the best, "again" but if it doesn't come out soon im buying msi). Now im on duron + abit kt7 and asus7700 64mb :-))

Yes in 3d mark best performing dets are 22xx series but have you bothered to check d3d games(UT loses bigtime with new dets)you'l be surprised !!! 8)

im on xp, instaled whql sblive drivers that are floating around and now i got some file i cant get rid of.file is in c:\windows\prefetch and it' called devldr32-XXXXXX dunno, cant erase it, cant replace it cant do anything with it it says that is used by other aplication or something.is there a way to do it in dos(and how, what commands)I have sensitive data on my hard so clean install is not an option and i need to get rid of the heel file pronto. NEED HELP YESTERDAY !!!!
