is there a way to set it so on the welcome (logon) screen it tells you that you have new mail on your POP mail account rather then your hotmail account?

I saw the post for ATI's Multimedia Center 7.2 for xp ... i was just wondering if it came with Gemstar's Guide+. I know when you buy an ati all in wonder card it will come with Guide+ & intergrate it into the TV part if the ATI MMC. If it does not come with it, how can you add it seperatly?

does anyone know where to dl the IE 6.0 Final Full installaion becuase my IE 5 currently is screwed up so when i run the IE 6.0 installaion (450kb) it has to dl about another 10 mb and it doesnt work on my comp cuase the IE doesnt work! So im thinkin microsoft has like an installaion aviable to dl for large netowrks but i cant find it!

a really good Remote PC software that i use on win2k (havent tried on XP yet) is Timbuktu! http://www.netopia.com/software/products/tb2/ it has lots of nice options and is easy to use!

same here works great on win2k sp2.. iv been using the beta on win2k sp2 & i think its much more stabiler then 5.0 or 5.5! It barly crashes unlinke the others!

Actually There was a test version of this... AIM 4.4 was tested a couple months ago & got leaked onto the internt. Now they have 4.7 but 4.7 doesnt have this option. Savenow is a spyware program... at www.lavasoftusa.com there is a utility that removes this & explains it... Becaause of spyware my comp used to crash all the time after doing many reloads i found out about this utility at lavasoftusa.com & i have never had a problem since!

I have 2 win2k pro computers. I want to know if there is a way that on one of the computers (the Main Administrator Comp) if i can run somethin like MMC to excute a program that is on the HD of the other comp. To make it a little more clear... lets say 192.168.1.1 was the main comp & 192.168.1.2 was the remote... 192.168.1.2 has the program that needs to be run & i want 192.168.1.2 to run the program. So i want to be able to excute it from 192.168.1.1... is this possible withOUT running third party software?

i installed that prog called Customizer 2000 (it was Advertised on 8/11/2001 on the main page) & i was playing with it & everytime i hit apply it said "failed to set data for 'DefaultRcvWindow'" so then i rebooted & now the version number comes up everytime on the bottom right of the desktop!! how can i make this prog work or remove this manually??

I have 2 windows 2000 Pro. computers and i was wondering how can i shut down one of the computers remotly from the other win2k comp? Is there a way to do it with using the MMC or do you have to run special software?

When i recently installed the newest version of IE 6 avaiable i noticed that you can no longer play embedded Quicktime videos. YOu must first save it & then play it. Does anyone know a way to fix this or why this is?

so far iv installed SP2 on my comp & its works great. i want to know delete the backup files becuase i have no need to keep them cause win2k is running great.. how do i get rid oh the backup files?

DOes anyone know if the final verison posted today (5-16-01) is the same as the version that was posted on friday (5-11-01)?
