I had this with my sisters 40GB Seagate drive in her Duron, but it disappeared when it got moved from my mams comp when it became hers :x

Too find the uptime simply type systeminfo in a CMD prompt, its nearer the top of the list of rubbish you get from typing this

The sony in the livingroom is the best but i prefer PowerDVD over all the others because of its ease of use and sound features.

Longhorn is in Alpha and if your desperate to give it ago dont bother, its not worth the downloading time and looks pritty much like XP does.

This stuff is the worst i have ever bought, i think i will go back to good old thermal grease that looks sort of like toothpaste and is a 1/5 of the cost. Anyway i think Arctic Silver is $*** to put it nicely. May reduce temps but i dont wanna have to be in my comp every month to replace it.

Ok i added this stuff to my cpu and it was nice, cpu never went over 49C ever. Now all of a sudden my temps are up 5C with the same case fans etc and when i look i have no arctic silver on the cpu anymore :x , does it dry up or something because i aint keep pulling my comp apart every month to add the damn stuff. Got me anoid really when its £5 a tube.
If it is supposed to dry up i will buy some paste instead.

I would loev to see you try to get your money from royalmail , they are useless, my new cold cathode light wassent to me by them and it arrived in 6days, not 3 as intended. Apparently they had tryed to deliver but there was no card so maybe they had forgot to drop a it off and even forgot to knock considering there was 3 people in the house the time they said it was delivered.

My 1.2 Athlon didnt have SSE and my 1.2 Duron doesn't either, Anyway let me know how you get on.

Wasnt there something about windows having a problem if you went from a non SSE CPU to an SSE CPU??
This would explain why only apps crash your pc

Buying an Antec 1000 Case comes with a window but the window has a fan in it, i was after to buy one of these Unreal Tournament Window Etch I was thinking that this will be a problem to get the etch on?
Can anyone confirm that?

Yep UK, I was originally intending to go for a chieftech but i owe my mam money and i wont be able to afford a chieftech plus the window(especially considering that the window is £30 for a side panel, making it nearly double the price of the antec case even though they are pritty much identical except that the antec has 2 fans on the rear of the case
, and the antec case comes with the window , where the chieftech has only 4 fans and no window.The Antec 1000 in all its gloury,

I prefer the Antec out of the 2, and i get an extra rear case fan 8) and the window
, personnaly they look so like, they have same features, same internal looks, Not to mention i can keep another £25 -
Price is another concern, this case has had a few good reviews from what i ahve found, this case is £65 where as a chieftech is £90 without the window, Lian-Li where going nearly double the chieftech price

Looking for a review with some good pics, thinking about dumping my lian-li case because its getting to small for me
and going for one of these coz it has built in window and takes 5 case fans aswell as being nice and roomy

Sound is an aspect i love
, thats why i have a full size Eltax Subwoofer under my desk with a dedicated amp for only the PC. Provides so much sound i cant hear myself at its 1/3 sound level and at full bass my wardrobe doors at the otherside of my room rattle very badly 8)However i have never found creative,etc PC speakers (5.1 Sets) to be good value, my amp and 5.1 set came to £200 and i have a lot better sound than than those speakers can achieve and its cost me around the same price

It is probably going to be an excellent move for providing new technology into the CPU's, the only thing that is maybe a concern is that IBM may end up owning AMD. wether or not this will be a bad thing who knows?
Anyway AMD are doing well and if they introduce new AMD only technology's into their processors (3DNow+ for instance) then this will certainly help boost sales of AMD processors. Intel have been ruling for a little too long on speed and reliability.

OMG! Have AMD been kicked in the head or something, IBM dont really have a great populartiy at this time after there HDD's
