OK! Windows 2000 and Windows ME both will turn the PC off when i shutdown but WinXP 2526 insists on not turning the computer off.Just leaves the display message that its now safe to turn off the computer. How can i get it to turn off or i know that on windows2000 setup you could install it as a normal computer or advanced computer, is there a button i should press when installing WinXP? I have a BlackWidow USBScanner 648Home and will not install under windowsXP. The installer loads and says its only compatible with Win2000,98,etc can anyone help me get a driver for the scanner because i use my scanner quite a lot.. Thanx very much

I have an AMDK6-2 500Mhz but win2000 seems to only run it at 250Mhz and even in sisoft sandra it is at 250Mhz but i am running WinME also and sisoft sandra on WinME says that it is at 501Mhz.Is this just win2k reporting wrong or is it only using the CPU at this speed?
