When i got my Athlon XP 1700+ installed into my ASUS A7V133(Now broking ) Motherboard i noticed that the guy who put it in had only set it to 100Mhz so i had to change it, CPU was only at 1100Mhz and i used it for a week without noticing.

I definatly agree with BladeRunner but still SCSI is very expensive, this is the only reason i wont move to SCSI. Don't think many people would take advantage of 12 Devices on a desktop PC but maybe on a server thats looking to use a lot of hard drives.

Anybody used a Thermaltake Dragon Orb 3 CPU Fan? Just ordered one from Ebuyer,also is there any reviews on it?

Also just ordered myself a Thermaltake DDR Cooling kit, is there any reviews on them anywhere. Im sure iv seen one in the past. Thanx

I need to check my Athlon XP 1700+ CPU to make sure that it hasnt burnt out or anything when my ASUS Board went on me. I have a Gigabyte 71XE4 that only supports 200Mhz Athlon Thunderbirds and was wondering if the baord would boot to bios or anything with the Athlon XP in so i can check that it still works? Just ordered a Gigabyte GA-7DXR+ from my supplier and 512MB 266Mhz DDR RAM. Should be getting them next saturday. Can't wait to have my computer actually working again .

Ok guyz, so many people overclocking crazy but no one mentions noise problems.I need a solution to the sound coming from my CPU Fan. its spinning at 7005 RPM usually so its pritty damn fast, its a great Fan but its so damn noisy, anybody have any suggestions on how to bring down the sound levels from the CPU fan? Hi guyz, my cousins buying a new ASUS A7V266-E and 1800+ Athlon XP. Currently he has a Athlon Thunderbird 850Mhz with a Abit KT7A Motherborad and also a Intel P3 500Mhz with a Gigabyte motherboard with dual bios(don't know model). I was just wondering what you reckon is a good price for one or the other (In £ not $) and what them two would probably overclock too. Thanx guyz

Yes, your completely correct about the ASUS boards and the raid jumper.Im pritty sure that i will probably go with the Gigabyte GA-7DXR+ motherboard. Seems to have a lot of features and i have been very happy with Gigabyte products.

I havent actually seen any reviews lately but i am pritty sure that i saw one about 3months ago. Id rather spend the £1 less on a manufacture that i have had no problems with and get a lot more support on the motherboard(i.e- RAID,ATA133,Dualbios)for my money.

I was thinking about getting a Gigabyte GA-7DXR+ motherboard, as i have been very happy with both gigabyte boards i have had(Still have one in fact).Has anyone used this Motherboard?

I got everything with my EPSON580 USB Printer, also when they came to replace the 1st printer they gave us 2 new black and colour cartridges as a sorry for the printer being faulty. Very Good in my opinion.

You would think that you are spending like £100 or more on a printer that they would give you the cable to use it.

HP printers are good printers but theres one thing i dispise about them printers and that is that you have to have a whole load of paper in before it will pick the paper up. Pain in the butt but they are good printers.

Its the second time iv had a problem with my Epson 580 printer, 1st time they came out within 24hours and replaced the printer. Secondly they gave me technical support person-2-person via chat on there site. I just think Epson are top class and make great products that they actually give support for!

Today i came home from IKEA and found my Athlon XP was off, i had left it on while i was out. Upon turning it on, no Fans spun(CPU Fan, Motherboard Fan and PSU Fan). I took out everything from the case and tried it now, still nothing. Now i thought maybe its the PSU, so i went and took out the PSU from my 1.2 Athlon and that does exactly the same. Personally i like Norton anti Virus and have had great experience with Trend. If i had the choice between any Anti Virus software, then Trend is the way to go.
