I once had a sony cpd-200sx 17' monitor and with the asus display drivers I was able to run 1024x768 in 87Hz as the monitors specifications said. The asus drivers for win98 had a nice little refresh rate fine tuning program installed that makde this possible. The alternative would have been the standard 85Hz at the current res. Today I have a 19' sony cpd e400p, it says 91Hz at 1280x1024 in the specifications. Im also runnin w2k sp2. I tried NVidia Refresh Rate Fix and others, but all gave me the standard 85Hz. Q: How can I edit/fine tune the refresh to 91Hz instead of the default 85Hz? Any ideas? Selha Europe

SP 1 installed and 100% ok. I recommend that u all uninstall ZoneAlarm, permanently.

I have the Speeddisk 5.1 for Windows 2000, its much better than the Diskeeper lite that comes with windows 2000. Btw, I installed the full version of Diskeeper, and it gave me nothin but problems, when I uninstalled it. I couldnt even use or install the old lite version again. The program is certified for windows 2000, and I did not believe this error could happen.

I just wanna ask u guys outthere with your VIA mainboard fx. Asus P3V4V: Is windows 2000 running 100% ok with the new 4 in 1 VIA drivers ?? I had nothing but problems with my old Asus P3V4X and windows 2000. From what I have been reading in reviews, they have the same problem issues.

I had a Asus P3V4X mainboard with the "lovely" VIA chipset, and Windows 2000 did boot very very slowly. I had a P2B before, and it were flying with Windows 2000. I sold the VIA chipset board (too many crashed), and got a P3B-F from Asus and its even faster than my old P3B-F. I think that ur mainboards quality has alot to do with the general speed of Windows 2000.
