Nero sucks it only supports burning 44khz 16 bit stereo mp3 files EZ CD creator and WinOnCD burn everything. With Nero I have nearly 100% CPU load, with Easy CD Creator nothing at all, I play Quake3 while burning CDs, no Prob. The only reason why I also have Nero installed is to overburn CDs.

I have a copermine 800 MHz (6*133) and when it's used 100%..playing games for instance.. it has about 72°C. I wonder how hot the average p3 gets because 72°C seems to be incredible hot to me because my AMD-K6 never had more than 40°C. My CPU is not overclocked at all. I would like to but don't dare to due to the temperature.

Standby and hibernation finally works !! After uninstalling und pulling out my Sounblaster Live it works but now I have no sound. Didn't try to reinstall it yet. If your system has a SB live and power management features work well please post here and tell we which driver you use.

you misunderstood me, I know exactly what hibernate and standby means. But they don't work. Standby shows nothing but a flashing "-" in the top left of my screen when I reactivate the PC and hibernate shuts down but freezes when I turn on the PC and it should continue from hibernate mode. Then I press reset the only choice I have and select delete hibernate file and boot as normal.

Ok if this is ok to you. I sleep in the room where my PC is and have to turn it off because of its noises and it's a waste of power letting it turned on 24 hours a day. I don't care which one but hibernate or standby, one of them or better both somehow have to work. Anyone has a link to ASUS news server ? Could find it on their page.

nope, didn't, stil have the "old" Liveware 3 for 2k.

Would like to run a Revelator too. I also have a Erazor 3 and a Guillemot Prophet3D Geforce in my other PC. Seems like there is no way yet and Elsa gives a fu.ck about 2000 still claiming it wouldn't be a gaming OS.

hmm..Besides the Hardware metioned above I have a Hauppauge WinTV, a Soudblaster Live, and an AVM ISDN Fritzcard. Don't know if any of them is not ASPI compatible, how can I find out ? What exactly are your settings in the BIOS - power management ? ( Meanwhile my PC wouldn't turn off at all but found out it was Direct CD that sucked )

When I use hibernate mode my system shuts down correctly but when I turn on my PC again it shows some error and my only option is to delete the hibernate file and boot as normal. Going into standby mode seems to work at first too, everything is turned off only one LED is blinking and when I hit some key it seems to continue, hard drive spinning again... but there's nothing on my screen !? can anyone help ? ------------------------------- PIII 800 133fsb not overclocked ASUS CUSL2 256 MB PC133 RAM Geforce 40 GB HD NTFS HP CD-RW 7200i

I have an ASUS CUSL2 board with some onboard gafic chip. I use my GeForce but wonder If I can use the onboard grafic card to connect a second screen to my PC but there's no other grafic card listed in the device manager than my GeForce ?! Is there a way to get them to work both at the same time ?

****, the tool dosn't work for me. First it told me that some chipset wasn't found and now it always tells me the service couldn't be startet.

Do I really have to reboot just to switch from monitor to TV-screen ? It suxx and I didn't have to in win98. ..??
