  1. Don't know if this has any help to you but my 5.5 version also appears to stop responding. I say 'appears' because the globe does stop rotating and I have no blue progress bar. But if I leave it the page loads as normal, must be some kinda bug in this version. Chris
  2. Hi, I'm also waiting for GP3 to come out next week but I went and got a MS Sidewinder Precision wheel. No forceback I know but still a damm fine wheel and a steal at £36 including next day delivery. The version 4.0 drivers work fine with w2k as well. Chris

    Liveware 3.0 doesn't work

Oh really, so how come it worked perfectly on my w2k setup with the liveware2 drivers installed? Chris
  4. But before you do have a look at this page http://www.microsoft.com/windows/mediaplayer/en/download/Playerv7.asp It quite clearly states NOT to install earlier versions of media player over the top of 7.0beta. Me thinks you should definantly wait until the full version comes out. Sorry Chris

    New Liveware, same old problems

Try disabling the scsi adapter first, on the CT's newsgroup there are many users who have taken out their adaptor and the problems ceased. If you look you might see that it takes up nearly 100% of your CPU process. Chris
  6. Ooops, read 'wouldn't harm' lol whisky and writing in forums ain't compatable, :-). Chris

    Cananyone help me with this?

Get these three warning messages in my application log when I boot up: 1)Unable to read IO control information from NBT device. 2)WMI ADAP was unable to load the winspool.drv performance library due to an unknown problem within the library: 0x0 3)Unable to read IO control information from NBT device. Doesn't seem to affect my system though but I would like to elimimate. Thanks for any help you can give... Chris
  8. Nope, maybe that is the difference between our systems, certainly it would harm to eliminate all other devices first, see if the changes have an effect, then start a process of re-installation one-by-one. Chris
  9. Used all of the Nvidia versions of the drivers starting from 3.78, about when I got the card, up until 5.25, not going to use 5.30 until I am convinced it is ok. Chris PS sorry about the duplicate posting
  10. Using Nvidia 5.25 drivers on TNT2 Model 64, have also SB Live gamer and no problems with the default monitor driver and hibernate. Have a Intel BX-2 m/board, have you got a via chipset?

Creative Webcam 3 Poor image quality.

I agree, the new drivers are so much better, still have a small screen in NM though, which is apparantly due to Nm not the drivers. Chris

Hi, yes I have had problems running web cam 3 under w2k with CT's drivers. It seems that the drivers have a poor response to lighting and require very fine tuning. I lso have a small window in Netmeeting, with a wide black edge around it which I don't have in win98 using the same settings. I have been in touch with CT's tech dept and they are aware of issues with the drivers but say that the small picture is down to MS and the NetMeeting program. Chris
