www.sysinternals.com has a few utils called 'pstools' which i find very useful. amongst other things you can batch local or remote (same domain though) shutdowns and reboots

i dont know what "the game" is :-) but some games run faster and some slower. i find win2k a very good "shitgamedetector"

some time ago i read that you can make a shortcut to the 'minimize all' icon, modify it, and then youd be able to make it whatever you wanted to, amongst other things binding a key to ctrl+alt+del. How do i do this?

zigzag : the last post is just what i was coming too, im glad you came around :-) i could mention that i personally installed win2k on about 10 different hw-platforms (admittadely w. some issues but those were due to my ignorance NOT to win2k) and also encountered a lot of installations of win2k in my work. i also worked w. nt4 (ws/srv) for a long time. and i still say that win2k is da b0mb :-)

is it possible to tunnel from vnc client to a vnc server using ssh on (the vnc server is on a win32 box- nt4) even tho there is no ssh server for win32 yet ? (altho f-secure are working on one)

first, this is a win2k forum, aight? =) and the telnet port cannot be sniffed if its switched. there something called vnc which can be used for remote x-sessions. do a search @ google.com for that. theres also another app but that doesnt work as well and i dont even remember what its called

i have 2 128 mb sd100ram sticks of different manufacturors, which i no run @ 133 fsb, so if your a bit lucky youll be able too run it at 133 as well, i wouldnt hope for it tho

actually a proxy is quite enough if u use www.openbsd.org, on second thought id trust it a lot more than those proggies like blackice, norton personal fw, or zonealarm, but on the other hand it requires another comp w. 2 nic`s
