  1. Hi,

     

    I want to syncronize the time of all clients logging on a domain. So I put the net time command in the login script, but that doesnt work, because the users of the clients dont have the right to set the time and I dont want to give it to them.

     

    How can i syncronize the time per login script?

  2. i did a slipstream installation Win2kSP2. Installed IE5.5SP1, after that i installed Office 2000. Maildownload with Outlook 2000 takes approx. 10 mins for 2 small emails .(


  3. i have a few problems after i installed SP2...

     

    1. Outlook email send/receive takes forever to complete, and in Task manager it is marked as "not responding".

    2. in battle.net games like Diablo II and Starcraft: Broodwar the login also takes forever, thread is marked as "not responding" in Taskmanager...

     

    can someone help me with this one? Is this a TCP/IP Problem or what?

  4. thx for repling, but...

     

    i tried both the registry thing and the command (net config server), Win2k still disconnects the connection after approx. 5 mins..., after a few clicks on the networkdrive the connection is back, but thats not a permanent solution.... any other solutions?


  5. im using a NT4 Server, with multiple Win2k-Clients, after a while the Win2k Clients seem to disconnect the network connection, and the networkdrives (I:,H smile get a red X on the icon....

     

    i tried a registry fix from the MS Knowledge Base, but that didnt work,... does anyone have a clue, what i can do to make the connections permanent?

  6. How can i do a slipstream installation with SP1 for Win2k?

    i have sp1 build 1.59 and i want to do a test slipstream installation with it, before the real SP1 will be available on monday. So i have the Win2k installation files on HD and the SP Files in an different directory..

    "update /s:E:\Win2k" should update the Win2k Files in E:\Win2k to SP1... but all i get is a error message, that the directory is not valid.... can someone help me here???
