personally, i use "The Bat!"
http://www.ritlabs.com/the_bat/
it's not free though, but it's worth it!
very compact - 2.4Mb installation,
and very powerful
also check out "Foxmail"
http://fox.foxmail.com.cn/english.htm
i haven't used it myself, but it looks
similar to "The Bat!", and is quite popular,
and i believe it's freeware

Try installing Nimo Codec Pack:
During setup unselect everything else, except:
DivX ;-) Audio and Windows Media Audio Codec.
This should do the trick, and ususally about any
sort of DivX problems its better to use doom9 forums:

There's a great free HTML to PDF convertor (you can
first convert your DOC into HTML and then to PDF):
You might also check out the Ghostscript + GSview
combination, free as well:

There's a front-end for IE which has pop-up stopping
function built-in in it:

this particular site uses "real audio" streams,
there are some recorders available:
http://www.highcriteria.com/productfr.htm#prod_TR
i'm not sure if you will be able to capture
pure real audio streams from this site,
but you can sure record these streams,
even using default "sound recorder" utility
which comes with Windows, you only need to adjust
you source of recording in your Windows
sound settings

ads or no ads, as for me, i still prefer opera,
its speed and low resource consumption are really worth it!
-
well, besides Opera , there's a damn good front-end for IE,
giving you MDI interface, and other things:
And best of all - it's free!

there's "Lite" version of KaZaA:
compared to original KaZaA:
- No Adware
- No Spyware
- No banners
- No bitratelimit for mp3 files
- No irritating websites loaded into KaZaA
- No BDE Viewer
- No Bonzi Buddy

go for Nero!
IMHO it's the most stable CDR/RW suite, and folks at Ahead Software frequetly release new updated versions of this app.

for encoding MP3s:
for ripping CDs:
audio editor:

all the above programs are freeware

I've been using Servant Salamander for a couple of years now, great interface, and generous use of system resources. IMO the best thing since Norton Commander and FAR Manager!

my guess, and experience as well, that 5.5 doesn't always work correctly in all the cases, i.e with certain sites, so 5.01 is there for the rock stability.... i guess

Does anybody know if it is possible to use
PC 133 RAM on an mboard supporting only
PC 100?
Maybe in that case the RAM just't
wouldn't run at its full potential, w/o
any incompatibility issues?
Thanks!
