My USB zipdrive works fine in win2k when I startup as usual.
The problem comes when I hibernate. When I start up my computer after hibernating windows can´t find the zipdrive, I have to reebot one more time, then I works.
Any ideas are welcome!

open the "Folder options", klick on "View". There you will find an option called "Show My Documents on desktop" or something like that. Tried that?

Rouge spear will not run at all under win2k on my computer. I downloaded the patch put it didn´t work on my version.

Operating systems on my computer right now:
Windows 2000 Professional
Windows 98 (some really old version)
I love win2k, it never crash, and it´s almost perfect.
Win98 is not good. I have tried win98se and windows millennium but they are worse than the old 98. That´s why I run the old 98 today. Perhaps, when windows millennium becomes beta 3 or release candidate, it will be better, but right now nothing beats windows NT, and I don´t think anything will. The NT kernel is so great, it improves everything compared with 98/millennium. Everything, all games and everything runs perfect under win2k.
That´s my opinion.

I have one small problem.
If I´m connected to the internet and start to print, ithe internet connection is disconnected.
I have ISDN and use the ZyXel imni.net plus and my printer is a HP DeskJet 720C.
Any ideas?

You have to enable APM. Rightclick on your desktop -> screen saver -> Power -> AMP and make sure the box for "enable advances power management" in checked!

I use wingate, what´s the difference? Does SyGate work with games likte Half-life? (my wingate doesn´t)

OK, this is not a big problem, but I really want it to be changed.
In explorer 4 and win98 the adress, when you typed an internet adress in the Adress-bar explorer completed the adress for you by filling in the letters that was missing.
Now, in explorer 5 and win2k it works different. Now the combobar scrolls down with the matching adresses.
Is there anyway to change this to the old fashion way?

Yea, we are all idiots!
But if you think about it: If everything worked as it should, without problems, it wouldn´t be any fun! The entire concept with computers should loose it´s point and purpouse!

I have a Iomega Zipdrive for the USB port. After a have hibernated and started up my computer again it wound find the zipdrive. I have to restart the computer, why????

I havegot a Hewlet Packard DeskJet 720C.
It works under win2k, and it prints text pretty well. When it comes to pictures it does not work quite as well. Sure, it prints the picture, but not as good as it does in win98 with the original drivers.
Is there drivers for win2k available? If not, when will it come? Do the NT4 drivers work?
Any comments are welcome.

Been thinking of leaving that post to someone who know what they do?
I mean, if you knew about the problem you wouldn´t have recomended the drivers, right? And if you didn´t know about it, you really missed something. It was not a small error, it broke down my entire win2k installation!

I downloaded the drivers from win2kbox.cjb.net. I installed just as the instructions told me.
When I started my computer with the new drivers everything got ****ed up. Windows locked after 30 seconds and NOTHING worked! I tried and tried and changed settings and averything I could think of, but the **** didn´t work!!!
I solved the problem with removing everything graphic related, repared my win2k installation and installed the old drivers.
Now I´m really tired of amatures who think they can make drivers, I will wait until 3dfx release REAL drivers!

No, I haven´t installed the software because it didn´t work under win2k.
Do you know if Iomega have released any new software?
