  2. Dear Webmasters and Newsposters, BurnOutPC.com has just posted their review on the Nexus HXR-5500 Heatpipe Memory Cooler. Quote "Nexus HXR-5500 Memory Heat pipe Cooler. A long name for such a simple product. But it's simplicity also makes it cheaper and I like the look of it as well. Again Nexus used Heat pipes to help cool down in this case the memory. The HXR-5500 is basically a large platter of aluminum stuck to the side of your memory along with a heat pipe to cool it more efficiently and therefore give it more over clocking capabilities." 4. Universe At War was a relative success on the PC scene a while ago, bringing a reasonably fresh perspective to the rather staid Real Time Strategy genre. With the game being released for the Xbox 360 the question I am here to answer is "Well shucks, can this really work on a console?" However, not only have companies been tempting our wallets with excellent rail stability and high efficiencies, they've also touted the low noise levels of their units. The PSU I have with me today sports a large, slow spinning fan and with near silence being one of it's main features. I'll be interested to see how much it can actually reduce my rig's noise levels by." *A news post on your site would be very much appreciated. Title: Razer Piranha Gaming Headset ( -at -) Phoronix Direct Link: http://www.phoronix.com/vr.php?view=12147 Summary: "We haven't looked at a new Razer product since February of 2007 when reviewing the DeathAdder, but with products from the Copperhead to the Mantis, we have been impressed with their exceptional quality. The Razer Barracuda AC-1 did initially have some problems with Linux, but those have since been worked out with the ALSA Snd-Oxygen driver. Today up on the review block is a new Razer audio product and that is the Piranha Gaming Communicator, which is a headset designed for gamers with true-to-life audio quality and a noise-filtering microphone." 8. Hi, It's Kristofer from DragonSteelMods, and I have a new review today that I think your readers might find interesting. Title: OCZ Freeze Thermal Compound Review ( -at -) DragonSteelMods.com Review Link: http://www.dragonsteelmods.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=6932&Itemid=38 Review Snipit: "Today for review I've got the OCZ Freeze Thermal Compound, when you think of OCZ you normally think of quality ram, but they are into cooling as most people know. The OCZ Freeze is another entry into the every growing lineup of instantly ready compounds, meaning they have no burn-in time required, something that I think most people appreciate greatly. Not only is the OCZ Freeze instantly ready but also non-toxic and very easy to apply. How does it stand up to others out there? 9. Dear Media friends, APH Networks has published a new review that your readers might enjoy. A post in your site's news section would be greatly appreciated! * Title: Logitech diNovo Mini Bluetooth Thumb Keyboard ( -at -) APH Networks * Description: You are sitting in your living room, on that beautiful, comfortable, black leather sofa you picked up just a few years ago. The designer lights on the walls are dimmed as the clock ticks past ten. The 50" LCD TV you've come to enjoy everyday after work is eight meters away from you. Under the TV is the home theater PC, along with an array of high end audio and video equipment with their LED lights and displays blinking and flashing in all its glory. Your media computer is hooked up to your television screen using an HDMI cable. CAT5e cables runs around your home with a network operating at Gigabit speeds to stream terabytes of media files from your server to your big screen TV and powerful audio system. An air of tension and suspense fills your living room as the blasts and emotions of the movies are about to come alive on the screen in front of you. You put your feet on the coffee table, wiggle your toes a bit underneath your black socks, and grab a warm cup of coffee to enjoy I am Legend on Bluray. As the clock on the wall continues to tick ever so faithfully while you sit there and wait for something to happen, a sense of shock and horror overcomes you. "How can the computer be operated from the comfort of my sofa without a wireless keyboard and mouse?" you wonder. The year is 2008. * Link: http://aphnetworks.com/reviews/logitech_dinovo_mini * Image: http://aphnetworks.com/review/logitech_dinovo_mini/007.JPG

  11. Hello Webmasters and News Posters, NEW CONTENT (Motherboards) - HuperLab and GIGABYTE - Joint Venture QUOTE: "GIGABYTE has been working with a company in Taiwan known as Huper Laboratories for well over a year now to develop a pair of motherboards specifically designed to work with HuperLab’s HuperVision surveillance software. You might wonder why you’d need a special motherboard for this, and so did we. GIGABYTE invited us to come along to HuperLab to see what the two have been working on. HuperLab might not be a company that most people are familiar with, and neither were we before this encounter. The reason is quite simply that HuperLab doesn’t sell its products in retail. The company is very much specialized in making digital security surveillance (DSS) products and it’s not something you’d pick up as a general consumer. However, you might have used one of their products without even knowing about it, or even more likely, you could’ve been recorded by some of their software and hardware products, as they’re quite common in several countries around the world." 15. Hi! Diamond has been so kind and sent us one of its new Diamond Radeon HD 3870 1GB cards. Just the fact that it sports 1GB RAM instead of the regular 512MB makes it stand out, but what really caught our attention was the fact that it has a 512-bit memory bus instead of the reference 256-bit. The relatively narrow bus of most RV670 and G92 cards is a common complaint among many, whether it's justified or not is something we will look at here today. We've updated our recently published roundup with the just released Diamond HD 3870 1GB and Diamond Radeon HD 512MB. Link:http://www.nordichardware.com/Reviews/?page=10&skrivelse=530 Quote:"But, Diamond has managed to squeeze in 1GB memory, which no other HD 3870 has, but then we haven't even touched the biggest news yet; the 512-bit memory bus. The 1GB version has eight 64-bit memory chips, and for that to work you need a 512-bit bus." Image (120x90):http://www.nordichardware.com/image3.php?id=4841 A news post would be most appreciated! 18. Hello Webmasters and News Posters, NEW CONTENT (Storage) - Hitachi Travelstar 5K250 2.5” Hard Drive QUOTE: "Hitachi has really come through in the hard disk market since taking over the department from IBM. So far the Hitachi drives have been top notch with no real reason to discredit them. Hitachi’s current range of drives are extremely impressive. On the design side there is nothing spectacular about the drive, it’s light in weight and looks well constructed. On the top of the drive there is a identification label with info on the drive including model numbers, spindle speed and capacity which is 250GB for this model we were sent." 19. Hello Again, Futurelooks gets in tune with the Microsoft ZUNE... Microsoft Zune 80GB Digital Media Player Review We’ve already been told that it’s coming “Zune” to Canada, but how does Microsoft’s sophomore entry into the MP3 player market compare against the iPods of the world? I had the change to take the larger Zune 80GB out for a test drive and I have to admit that they have made some serious improvements over the first-generation Microsoft Zune. The P5K Pro is an economy-minded board, filling in the fairly sizable gap between the P5K Deluxe and the stripped down P5K SE. How will the P5K Pro size up against its big brother? Read on to see..."
  21. Hi all, We've posted a review of Maxtor's Shared Storage II 1TB NAS box, which most certainly didn't live up to our expectations. Title: Maxtor Shared Storage II 1TB ( -at -) Techgage Link: http://techgage.com/article/maxtor_shared_storage_ii_1tb/ Quote: We were so impressed with the Central Axis upgrade for the Shared Storage II at CES that we thought we'd check out the NAS itself prior to the official launch of that software. With 1TB of storage, will the SSII warrant a purchase, with it's higher price point?

  23. A news post would be great. OCC has published a new review of the Asus EN9800 GTX Here is a quote from the review: Quote: "The Asus EN9800GTX went straight up to 852MHz on the GPU core, 1250MHz on the memory and the shader clock topped at 2106MHz. Regardless of the utility used (Smart Doctor, Riva Tuner 2.08, Ntune), I achieved the same result. All of these results are significant gains over the stock speeds. An increase of 177MHz on the core equates to a 21% increase in core clockspeed. A 20% increase in shader clockspeed (442MHz), as well as a 12%, or 150MHz, increase on the memory is nothing to shake your head at either. The performance potential is huge with the 9800GTX series of cards. With increases in clockspeeds like this, the expectations are high, so let's see how well it performs."
