I read this thread and tried the following and my bluescreens stoped altogether. I am prety sure it was from up[censored] my video card drivers. My second guess is that it was the Virtual drive on my computer.
-Changed the cable on the hard drive to the end connector and double checked it being set as master.
-Found a different (older version) of my video drivers and installed them.
-Unpluged all USB connectors and used PS/2.
-Closed DAEMON tools and set number of virtual drives to 0.
One or a few of these things worked for me. So i hope this post lightens someone's day!
