If you want a free FTP client then look at Filezilla.

Best way is with FTP software then upload it to your site. Filezilla comes to mind as a free one.

When installing a sound card you have to disable the onboard one as well as uninstall the drivers. Most of the time that is done by going into the BIOS or it may be a jumper on the motherboard itself.

Yours are the same version as the latest on the Intel site. As far as the game you may want to look at this Game compatibility list that was on the Intel site for that chipset. Scroll down to Sim City 4. Maybe it will help you out.

Not sure how in Firefox but in Internet Explorer you could do the following. Go into internet options then click on security tab. Highlight Internet then click on custom level. Scroll down the list to Downloads then change them to disabled. Click OK and do the same (disable) for the Local zone on the security tab.
