I can't really suggest too much to be honest. Assuming the screen that pops up is an autorun, can you try running setup.exe off the CD?

Hmmmm, the compatibilty database say s that AoE2 works under XP. What exactly is the problem? e.g. won't run at all, crashes, won't install etc.

Hi guys, eeer I've got quite an odd video card issue. My Grphics Card is a generic one that came with the PC and it is competent at running decent games but I would love o get an ATI Radeon.........anyway. The card I am having problems with is this; Intel Extreme Graphics 82845G Chipset version 6.13.01.3317 This runs Halo ok but all characters are only made up of shades of black, grey, and white (E.G. Masterchief isn't green, grunts aren't red and orange etc.). This card isn't T&L capable. Anyway having seen this I downloaded the latest drivers to make it; Intel Extreme Graphics 82845G/GL/GE/GV version 6.14.10.3865 Now the characters have colours and the general texture quality is better, however. While I can be standing in the game with everything ok, I can just move the mouse a fraction or two, and every texture on the screen becomes garbled--bands of bright green and red or yellow and purple checkered patterns etc. This only seems to happen at certain points in the game such as one particular room will be like this and the rest of the level is fine, or the entire level is affected. I have run dx diag and there were no problems found, due to my limited knowledge in this area any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I use Kaspersky anit-virus software (amongst others) and when it 'notices' something be it a virus or just a corrupted files etc. it makes an extremely loud pig squeal sound to get my attention. Since having installed SP2 it does this most days now, however it is getting less frequent as I fix more and more problems. Perhaps your problem is similar to this? If not just ignore this post..... 8)

I want to use Windows Movie Maker (suggest any better software by all means) to make machinima movies for someone I know. Can I record a full screen program on my PC with WMM? If not, what kind of cables do I need to attach my PC to my TV or games consoles?
