I am trying to install epiphany web browser into Mandrake 9.1 but i keep getting this message when i run ./configure
configure: error: Library requirements (gtk+-2.0 libxml-2.0 >= 2.5.9 libgnomeui-2.0 libglade-2.0 bonobo-activation-2.0 libbonoboui-2.0 >= 2.1.1 ORBit-2.0 libglade-2.0 gnome-vfs-2.0 gnome-vfs-module-2.0 gconf-2.0 ) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.
What does this mean and how do I fix it?
Thanks in advance

could this be a bug? I think it has something to do with the ramdisks that are made during install, because when I Ctrl+Alt+F3 / F4 i see 2 errors about unable to mount ext2 or something..I really wish mandrake 9.2 would install for me, I loved 9.1 i guess until i find an answer to this problem I'll go with fedora, but sure would like to check out Mdk92 any suggestions?
Thanks,
:x Just another NooB :x
Mandrake 9.2 thoroughly sucks

After Fighting with Sh*tdrake 9.2 for a solid month now, I have reached the conclusion that The entire Mandrake development team should most definately be taken out and be executed in a most violent manner. ;(
People, if you want a really reliable operating system, check out http://www.sco.com and get REAL Unix (not something built on stolen code such as Linux) or consider a fine product from Microsoft that actually WORKS!
