I am using mircosoft virtual pc to run mandrake mabe thats the problem cause i dont know linux at all i am trying to lern it...

i installed this peace of software and im having problems with the local host login:

 

Iv put as a username:root but when it comes time to put a passw i cant it wont type anything and i change my keyboard and it still dont work an someone help me.
