Common fixes for problems....

I've just been thinking (whoa, news right there!) about the common fixes that are given to resolve problems: Change the driver, Uninstall it or remove it Try a different one Change ________ in BIOS Reinstall it Flash your BIOS Pray to tech god...

I've just been thinking (whoa, news right there!) about the common fixes that are given to resolve problems:

Change the driver,
Uninstall it or remove it
Try a different one
Change ________ in BIOS
Reinstall it
Flash your BIOS
Pray to tech gods
Plead to tech gods
Grovel/weep to tech gods frown
Patch it to ____ version
Try the Compatibility app
Reinstall Windows
Make obscene gesture at computer
Swear at computer
Use "Gallagher" method to resolve problem;)
Just buy a whole new system
Switch to new OS:D

Force is strong with this one master.
He is going to wreak havoc to all of our jobs. We all can sense it can't you.

Truth is guys make something foolproof, somebody will make a better fool.
I think our jobs are secure :);)

If IBM was making all the SW, than all of us would be flipping burgers or pulling pints probably smile

PS. There is nothing wrong with flipping burgers etc. It is just a figure of speech.

I was just trying to cover myself aginst people who are flipping burgers for living.
Some people are managing to get offended from anything.
I absolutely love my job.
This morning I dispatched an engineer for 3 machines not working.
Problem Burned out plug fuse £0.10,
Time taken, 15 Minutes
Call out Charge £250.00
Enjoyment: Unlimited.....
