Annoying: The transparent icons built in XP

Yes very annoying. Have you tried using a wallpaper with most of it white ? Only thing you can see in the icon txt is shadows. How can I use for example black text with my wallpapers ? Or blue? PS: This must be the most annoying feature in Wi...

Because then the txt blends in but the shadow does not. I guess I could disable it and go back to my little 3rd party program I used in Win2k. Top

If you select the option that says something like "lock desktop" I believe you will have the Win2K-style backgroundless box around your icon text. Mine does that, anyway.
