Serial Addiction has posted a review on the Thermosonic Thermoengine heatsink. The Thermoengine is made entirely of pure aluminum alloy. It comes stock with a very nice finish on the sides and bottom, Though for better thermal conductivity we lapped the bottom using 1000 grit and then 3000 grit sandpaper untill we had a mirror finish. The Thermoengine also comes stock with a large Thermal pad that is supposed to work amazingly well (for a pad) though we test all our heatsinks with Arctic Silver II Thermal paste for best results.Read more
