The problem is that I can´t install office 2000 swedish oc my machine whem runing win xp (2475). The windows file protection keeps poping up, 2 or 3 times, and after that the installation quits. The really funny part is that i can install outlook 2000 from office 2000 but not word 2000, that´s the one I need. I have tried with setting 1 on SFCdisable, I read somewhere that it turns of the file protection. So the question is what do I do?

I'm going to guess its because your OS and Office aren't both localized? Maybe you need WinXP Swedish for them both to work with each other?

You've probably done this, but have you changed your language in Regional Settings in the control panel to Swedish?

I'm thinking you're SOL though because you have a localized Office.
