open Source Personal Finance Software!

Hi, Anyone know of a good, simple, free, personal finance program that will install easily ( RPM ) and work well in a KDE 2.2 arena? Thanks, Richard x)...

It even will import your Quicken file.

Thanks for the reply. I had no idea that Gnucash would run in a KDE environment.I assumed that it needed Gnome and I have no Gnome. I`ll try it out.Thanks punkisdead.

You are able to run gnome programs under kde as long as you have the libraries installed, which doesn't take up much space. I usually install them because there are many good gnome programs even though I prefer KDE for a desktop.

i have a program that you could check out...
it's called parcus even though it's not free but from my point of view it's really terrific program to use and worth every penny because all the features that you'll ever need smile

Thanks for the post, but this thread is over 4 1/2 years old!

Additionally, the folks were looking for finance software for the Linux operating system and this program requires Windows and Excel.
