2 of my favorite games do not run, or run poorly in windows 2000, but I like windows 2000 so much I want to know if you all can help me get these games running properly.

Motoracer

This runs fine, however I can not enable direc3d in the game, I immediately freeze. IF I play it in software mode, no problems, but its grainy and not much fun.

Not so lucky, I can not even get it to load. I get an error:
The procedure entry point SunMapLS_IP_EPB_20 could not be located in the dll kernel32.dll

So if anyone can shed some new light, I have service pack 1 running of win2k and tried the new compatibility updates and tried to force the games to run in win98 mode with the new compatibility patch, and I get the same effects.

gobs of hard disk space
cd/cdrw/dvdrom
sound blaster live

Can you elaborate? Is this the Win2k Compatibility Toolkit from 3rd quarter 2000, or the newer one posted a few days back that has the enhancements ripped from Whistler? Which version, and which program do I use? Tell me what you did to fix this.....

I downloaded the new compatibilty toolkit and ran apcompat and launched motoracer 2 with it saying its win98, and I still get the SunMapLS_IP_EBP_20 kernel32. dll error

Well as far as I remeber it also worked with the toolkit released by microsoft @

You used the file QfixApps and choose win98verlie and run the game.

Secondly, the new compatibility ripped of whilster is much better. Run either QfixApps or Run Compat and choose the exe.

DONT USE APCOMPAT, it is useless.

Im having the same trouble ,i installed the windows compatbilty
toolkit and no luck running xp pro sp2 updates with off 2k3 and updated totally! ? any ideas
