Dual boot setup, is there a better way to do this?

What i want is for the Win9x/Win2k boot menu to remember which OS i last selected, and use it as default. What i do at present is have a MSdos batch file in the startup of each OS which changes the Boot.ini file. It seems a little crude thoug...

What i do is put these 2 files in C:\
You will have to edit these files to point to your install of Win2k. http://website.lineone.net/~winger300/BOOT.W2k http://website.lineone.net/~winger300/BOOT.WME

Then put each of these files in their respective OS's startup folder...
http://website.lineone.net/~winger300/boot2k.ba1 http://website.lineone.net/~winger300/bootwme.ba1

I had to rename the .bat files to .ba1 cos my webspace provider is funny about them. Just rename the .ba1 to .bat

That should do it.
