I've made the following table using Partition Magic:
C:Win98 (509Mb, FAT16) Prim Active
D:WinNT (509Mb, FAT16) Log
E:Crap (16.5Gb, FAT32) Log
F :Dump (2Gb, FAT16) Log
Some free space (4Gb)
Win98 is running correctly at this moment, but I want a multi boot with NT4, Lin SuSE6.1 and BeOS4.5. Right now I'm trying to install NT4, but the setup has problems reading my partition table". Disks C and D are marked as "unformatted or damaged", disk E is fine, F is marked as "free space" and the free space of 4G is no longer there. Strange, cause the disk is absolutely fine!
Please help me if you can

If u used Partition Magic 5.0 then that could be the problem. Try redoing the whole thing with 4.0. It is most very possiable that that is the root of ya problems.

The whole thing u outlined sounds wired. WinNT4 SHOULD NOT see Drive E at all sonce it can't read Fat32 and if drive C was damaged it wouldent even boot since C is ya boot partition.

Sometimes the FAT table gets pfuked adn the best way is to Start with Fdisk whiping out all drives and re-doing it from scratch.

PS. For linus u gonna need one more partition for Swap file which should be the same size as ya Ram.

Speaking of such, i have previously suggested a 6-month timeout on threads. Phillip, what's the chance of getting a script that locks threads once they have been idle for 6 months, and perhaps archiving threads over 1 year old? I realise the board runs really fast as it is, but perhaps it would be easier to search if threads archived after 1 year.

Yeah, seems "yutao" has only one answer for every question. As for yutao being a bot, that would explain answering questions that were asked 5 years ago.

Can't spammers be put on "auto-plonk" by the mods? Or just remove their membership? This "poster" is a blatent spammer.
