OK, quick BG2 question to all you who own it.
Please can you answer the following question with a simple yes or no.
Please, please, please don't give me any plot lines, spoilers etc about the game.

I know that any new character automatically starts at Level 7 or similar.
If I import a character from BG1 does he keep any of his equipment/weapons?
