Quake 2 in Win2k!!! :(

I finally got everything set up perfectly in win2k, but i noticed some bugs in quake 2. Whenever i changed the brightness settings, they wouldn't change. Whenever i start or join a network or internet game, the game crashes and kicks me back ...

I finally got everything set up perfectly in win2k, but i noticed some bugs in quake 2. Whenever i changed the brightness settings, they wouldn't change. Whenever i start or join a network or internet game, the game crashes and kicks me back out to the desktop. The game also looks a little darker and i can't strafe jump anymore. (quakers will know what this is) Does anyone have this problem??? Can anyone help me???

my system:

dual celie 400's oc'ed to 450's
v3 2k with official retail win2k drivers
256 mb of ram

please help me...action quake 2 is my all time favorite game.

Well.. Im running Win2k... With Pentium III 600, Voodoo3 3000, 256 mb RAM.. and I have found on problems what so ever.. it runs like a dream..

Works fine with me too. I have an abit bp6 with dual celeron 466@525 and a voodoo2 (nt-compatible drivers). Speedjumping works fine too.
