FF8 Freezing up on tutorials

Hey has anyone had any problems with FF8 Retail freezing up when you get to a part where they run a tutorial to explain stuff? It freezes my keyboard and I have to press my reboot button. I'm not sure if this is Win2k or FF8's fault... probably...

I'm trying installing w2k to manage to play the game, but I can't choose 3d hardware acceleration, even with the latest nvidia detonators (3.75). I've got a TNT2 M64, and you ? Tiho Top

AND NOW IT WORKS !! Well, played about 30 min without crashing, which I had never managed before. Hope it'll last... Tiho :-D Top
