umm. could someone help me with Quake 3 SMP and NT4 w/SP5
I have a dual 300 w/256mb ram, UW scsi HD with a ton of free space, Diamond Moster Fusion agp, Sound Blaster Live! value, and an isa modem. i am using the lastest 3dfx NT banshee drivers w/ the latest MiniGL. I cant get Quake 3 to work regular and i dont know hoiw to get into smp mode. i can get q1 and 2 to work. is there any way to get it working with that card??? im thinking of using windows 200rc1 Pro too, but i dont have a copy just yet.

if you have NT detecing two processors,
run quake, pull down the command console and type in
R_SMP 1
you will have to quit the game and restart it but next time you go in it should run in SMP mode. (To test, type again at the console R_SMP it should come back with a value of 1)

BTW Some people claim that Voodoo cards are not very stable in SMP...
