What exactly did you do? ;( ;( Did ypu just compile Gimp-print-4.2.6-pre2? Can you write step by step?
Just download the latest Gimp-print-2.4.6, compile and install and you dont have to uninstall anything. The printer shows up in the control panel where you set up new printers. Works as good as the windoze driver.
