Can you host a local mirror of RH 8 so that forum members can get it a bit quicker?

No, that need ways to much bandwidth

Man, getting this is a pain in the a$$. Check this out from the site that I am currently getting it from (it was listed at www.redhat.com/mirrors.html but it looks like they won't be anymore):

I can imagine.. All the mirrors I have tried today are all full, anyway.

Actually, hit the HTTP link from my last post above, as you can get some REALLY nice bandwidth from it. I got 230KB/s from it for all 5 ISOs since they didn't (or can't) cap the upstream from their webservers.
