I am a total newbie ! I have Mandrake 9.1 , AMD XP 1800 and a Asus G4 video card !

How do you update the drives for it ? <---- detail please

At nvidia.com here are 4 option to download :

1. Linux IA32
2. Linux AMD64
3. Linux IA64
4. FreeBSD

You want to get the Linux IA32 drivers. IA32 stands for 32-bite Intel Architecture, i.e.
what is commonly referred to as a PC. AMD64 is the new 64-bit architecture by AMD,
IA64 is the 64bit Itanium architecture by Intel, FreeBSD is a different operating system
altogether.

Just remember that when you install the drivers from the nVidia web site you have to open up your /etc/XF86Config (or XF86Config-4) file and change the Driver line from "nv" to "nvidia"
