rescan scsi-bus

hiho, anybody knows a way to rescan the scsi bus in win2k to find devices that have not been powered on when the computer started. In win98 it was easy - just needed to press "update" in devicemanager, but that does not help in win2k... :-( ...

AFAIK (self experience) this isnīt needed in W2K anymore. For example I booted up my machine without my SCSI Scanner being powered on, then I had to scan something and simply switched it on. Worked right away.

well, i need this feature...

i have some special hardware (my DVB satellite receiver) connected to my computer through scsi.
But my prog won't find it on the scsi if it wasn't switched on during bootup or if i switch it off and then on again later while windows is still running. using rescan in win98 the receiver was found again.

So i need it...

Any idea?
