Vmware Memory Management is terrible. DosBox only emulates what it has to for the games. That's it and it's better for it! As for DosEmu? DosEmu is so ancient that it isn't even funny. You might say that DosEmu has better DPMI support...well you'd be right as far as released binaries go but currently DPMI is being beta tested (Latest CVS has the code) and DosBox has pretty much surpassed DosEmu there. So check it out if you love Dos games then DosBox is the way to go both for Linux and Windows.

I have quite a collection of Win32 Games running now. Including a lot of the latest games....AND most of the best DOS games are now Linux Native. Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem, ROTT....etc. I am not tryiing to slam you...just my opinion.

As of this morning also, transgaming just released verision 3.1 of WineX and Point2Play 1.1 which now adds even more support. http://www.transgaming.com/
