I have the strangest of problems, well, it's strange cause I have never seen it before =)

Every time I stick something into my usb, I need to install it - again - even though it has been installed before, several times I should add. For example, I several times a day plug in the 360-controller into the comp (for various reasons I can't have it in all the time), also the wacom board, some times a mem-stick and so on. All these things need to be installed, you now the process, "search on the net" or "manually" and so forth. The process for the wacom board is insanely tiering, since it has so many driver parts it needs...

Is there a setting that controls this? It's XP Pro, latest updates on a "new" dual core 1.6.
I don't have the problem at home and have never seen it before.

Thanks in advance.

Are you plugging into different USB ports or the same one each time?
