I'd love to try this, I need a new file/web/email/FTP server and even if you factor in the cost of a mod chip and larger hard drive, the Xbox works out cheaper for its hardware complement than a full PC. The trouble is that so far, only Mandrake and Debian are being offered as distribution choices and I'd rather put Slackware on.
