"After the launch of its Zen line of compact music players, Creative
has announced another contender to take on Apple?s value-oriented iPod
music player. The new checkered design is interesting, but we just
aren?t too fond of it. It looks too amateur, and frankly, we expected
better from Creative. Sure, other Zen music players aren?t exactly
Oscars worthy in design either, but we liked them better, if for
nothing else but their simplicity, than Mosaic."
