Hello everybody and welcome to the Guru3D.com content update.
The vacation season has started, but that doesn't mean there isn't a
lot happening in the technology industry. In today's update an
overview of some products we reviewed the past two weeks. A new fun
addition to the website is the "Rig of the Month" each month we look
at a special PC build. This winner this week for example built a rig
based on a Pyramid. Really interesting to see.
Have a fantastic weekend !
GeForce 9800 GTX+ SLI tested
<http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforce--9800-gtx-sli-review-plus-model/>
We started receiving email emails asking us to test this product in
SLI and then compare it with AMDs Radeon 4850 HD in Crossfire. And
sure that's a very interesting perspective to look at so I'll happily
dedicate some time for such an article which you just landed at.

soon the Dual-GPU based Radeon 4800 X2 series of products.

Opposing fronts from THQ. Intersted already Read on then.

Radeon 4850 and 4870 review Force3D
<http://www.guru3d.com/article/radeon-4850-and-4870-review-force3d/>
Force3D is a Hong Kong based company that opened it's doors earlier
this year. Their focus is placed completely at AMD's ATI graphics
solutions. They are a starting company and mostly will function as
AIB partner for AMD. I have a soft spot for companies that are just
staring and are relatively small. I also have a keen eye on quality
and know very well what is good for you guys.
ECS X48T-A review mainboard
<http://www.guru3d.com/article/ecs-x48ta-review-mainboard/>
Typically an X48 chipset based mainboard will start at roughly 250
USD. The two chips the mainboard manufacturer has to purchase from
Intel total up towards 90 USD alone. I'll spill the beans already for
today you can pickup this product for 199 USD. And it even looks
superb.
Radeon HD 4850 and 4870 CrossfireX
<http://www.guru3d.com/article/radeon-hd-4850-and--4870-crossfirex-performance/>
Radeon 4850 and 4870 Crossfire review. Since Radeon series 4800 cards
offer so much value it might even be interesting to pair them in
CrossfireX mode. See much like NVIDIA's SLI offerings AMD's ATI
solution can be paired and matched as well. So pretty much today
we'll place several cards together in CrossfireX mode first the cards
paired two and then we'll for the sake of it see if we can pair three
cards CrossfireX mixed meaning 2x 4870 and one 4850.
