I'm trying to run NHL 2000 on vista but it doesn't seem to want to work. I've tried on every option in the Compatibility mode as well as every OS and no dice. It tell me that nhl2k.icd has stopped working. I did some half assed research and it was pointed towards a no cd patch. I tried that and now it tells me that nhl2k.exe has stopped working.

If it helps, my specs are:

MS Windows Vista SP 1
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+
3gb of ram
ATI Radeon X1250
Realtek High Definition Audio
Optiarc DVD RW AD-7170S ATA Device

The problem could be with your processor. I know that I have had problems in the past running EA SPORTS games on an AMD machine. Try looking at the game website for CPU compatibility.
