I bought a japanese laptop: is a Toshiba Dynabook SS MX/290DLE
Model name : Portege M300 series
Model number: PPM32N-002003
I run windows xp pro on it..
I recently uninstalled the japanese OS system and with it went all my drivers, so I have no internet, no sound, my infrared port doesn't work, my sd card reader slot doesn't read cards, my usb ports are no longer 2.0? (my brother gave me this information but I'm not sure about it, usb did seem to transfer slower though)

So I was hoping someone could help me, I can't seem to get together the proper drivers to get things up and running again. The only thing I really remember from before is that my wireless said Intel (r) Pro/100. If there is more information you require I will try to provide it.

Can someone help?
I will be indebted to you!
THANK YOU!!

You might try going to Toshiba's site: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modSel.jsp?moid=0&rpn=&hideModName=true&BV_SessionID=@@@@2025997933.1183554682@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccciaddlgelekdjcgfkceghdgngdgmm.0
Choose the drivers you need. It is a start.
