Unfortunately VISTA Premium is not capable of detecting "Dynamic" type of Hard Disks-only Ultimate can. If I want to convert to "Basic", VISTA warns me that I will loose all data in that process. Is there a utility that can convert to "Basic" type without loss of data, either in W2K or in Vista? TIA.

jmmijo veteran Registered: 05/29/02 Posts: 1486	I do believe that Partition Magic can do this, however, it's a third party retail app so if you are looking for low/no-cost I wouldn't know where to refer you to
