Hey
So, here is the thing. Downstairs in my flat complex there is a friend who want to setup a router as a Internet sharing point.
I tried setting his router up so that it will share the connection, normally i have no problem with this (since i have 2 set up in my apartment on two dsl connections.) But not this time, he has NTL broadband and i just cant seem to make it to share the net.
So first i thought it was a DHCP error and disabled it but the router just cant seem to connect to the internet.
tried everything, even to disable the NAT but no luck =/
It doesnt run PPPoE and just plugs and connects when connecting to a pc, so it must be set to automatic.
I even tried setting the router up with a fixed type of WAN.
I just feel like bypassing the entire sh*t and just set up a dedicated DHCP pc..
But why wont the router connect to the net?
I find this bizarre.
Please advice.
Maybe its the router?
