OK, dumb question from an even dumber newbie. I am DL Lycoris as we speak. Will burn to CD.

The dumb bit, will all Linux apps/games work in Lycoris? :x

the awnser is yes.
I have never used lycoris.
But if it is linux everything can be run with more or less effort.
If you are new to linux I recomend Mandrake, eventhough I have read that lycoris is very user friendly for novice users. Mandrake is simply more popular and you will find more users in forums that can help you.
It is as simple as that.
