direct x 9.0c error

hi, Guys i need ur help. i am getting a direct x 9.0c error. i am trying to play star wars kotor part 2 game an it needs 9.0c . Whenever i try to install it it says cabinet file neccesary for installation cannot be trusted. can anyone help....
