Does XP Home have "system restore"? I run XP Pro, so I have no idea if Home has it. If it does, restore to a point before you installed "belarc".
***EDIT*** forget that, just found out what "belarc" is, heh heh heh.
Update you audio drivers, head to your mobo/pc builder's website, and download new drivers for your mobo and onboard sound. If you can't find them, I'll help you hunt them down.
