Hi Everyone!

I bought the Sims 2 and unable to install it! When I try to install directX 9, it fails and gives me a popup that explains "Cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted" What do i do? It say I have Direct X 8.0. I see that alot of people are having problems with Direct X 9.0 What can I do to fix the problem. I am going to be upset if i have a $50 game that has to sit in the box. Please help me!

Windows installation is faulty. Do a repair install to fix it.
