I love ClamAV. I use it for virus scanning all emails that come in through my mail system - also effective as an Exchange gateway.

Also check out F-prot (http://www.f-prot.com). And check out this thread (http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-kde/2002-Jul/0109.html) for a nice shell script for running it.

ClamAv is really great. Pity it doesnt have a GUI though.

How do you you that ClamAv is checking my emails...I don't know see any kind of notifications, and how about update its database for new viruses...I never see an activity for this AV.
