Home page settings are greyed out - how do I rectify this problem?
I removed a re-director bu I can't set up the home page.

Sounds like the redirector also hosed/munged some registry settings. I'm not sure if this trick will work, but open IE and go into the Internet Options. Click on the Programs tab and then locate the Reset Web Settings button.

I would reboot the machine after doing this and then see what happens.
