The virus you have sounds like the w95.hybris.gen.

This one infected alot of our workstations. Takes a few minutes to fix, but damage is pretty low.

But, you ve to know, that all ANTIVIRUS FIRMS are very inteligent, because they all give removal instructions from WINDOWS REGISTER BASE, but with this virus, you can't see anything on screen !!!

So, I did it by Scanning the Hard drive with new virus definition (7 january)!!!

But i would like to know, how a basic user with only one PC will done it !?

already have antiviruses software that is ALWAYS up 2 date installed, that is how i assume most here do it, as they prevent it before it happens
